Our Role in the UW System
Our mission is to promote and ensure academic quality in the University of Wisconsin System and to encourage the efficient use of resources to achieve that end. Academic Affairs advises and provides leadership and service to the Board of Regents, the President of the UW System, and the institutions in the System in formulating, interpreting, and implementing policies related to academic programs, teaching and learning, and student affairs.
